Laugh Lab with Lace Larrabee

Between grad school and my internship, I wanted to keep flexing my comedic writing muscle, so I took a stand-up class with Lace Larrabee, a finalist on Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Competition, America’s Got Talent’s #1 comedy queen, and overall Atlanta favorite. Learning from her was an honor. Over several weeks, we wrote, got live feedback, and ended with a sold-out graduation show at the iconic Punchline Comedy Club. I learned the rule of threes, how to land a punchline, and that doing what scares you leads to new friends and skills. My tight five wasn’t exactly PG, so no video link, but I’ll share some pics and joke topics. That may or may not have included Peloton, airport travel, bachelorette weekends, boyfriends, and stuffing dates.
